How do I record from my digital piano?
So I have a Yamaha P-105, and I want to record some stuff from it on my PC. I have the necessary USB cable, and my PC recognizes it. Now what do I do?

Do you have recording software installed? If so, what? Are you recording this purely for the audio, or for transcription to notation? Makes a difference. For audio only, you can find several fairly inexpensive things - even free, like Audacity. For transcription, you can spend a little or a lot. The NOTEPAD freebie version of Finale doe NOT accept MIDI input - higher levels of it do. Trying to be diplomatic here - but I am *not* an expert on amateur-use software, just professional stuff. So my suggestions might be overpriced for you - you do not need to get full-featured Finale or Sibelius. There are others here who know amateur software - I am sure they will write in.

You can get a mini mixing console, 4 or 8 channel with USB output if you want to record audio to the computer. It will probably come bundled with Audacity; or you can get Audacity from the download site.
If you're planning to use the digipiano as a MIDI controller for a score writer, then I'd look at MuseScore as the go-to "free" (shareware) program to get.
... otherwise, Finale or Sibelius.
