Abcess on my cats neck?
So my cat had a bump on his neck last week. I noticed it got bigger the other day and hardly squeezed it, and tons of pus came out of it. It's been about 3 days, and the bump is now it's original large size, and around it literally smells like feces. Does anyone know what this is and if there is any way to treat it at home? I don't have tons of money to spend at a vet so any home remedies, if any at all, would be helpful.

If it smells bad then it's most likely infected. Your cat needs antibiotics to treat the infection and these don't usually cost too much, so please get him seen by the vet as soon as you can. Please don't be tempted to ignore this because the sooner he is seen, the easier and cheaper it will be to treat him.

if it smells like feces, then it is seriously infected & probably necrotic
sorry, but this really needs the help of a vet & some proper antibiotics

make sure there's nothing alive in it. flies will lay eggs on them and when they hatch the larvae will eat your cat alive. this isn't a troll.
try cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide. keep it clean.
u may need to see a vet. they get these worms [warbles]in them ...well u have to see it it's not pretty.
