How much do you spend on a bottle of shampoo?

Just saw a "10 best" about shampoos and cannot believe anyone would pay as much as $40 for a bottle of shampoo.

So I'm curious... what do you buy, how much do you spend and is there really a difference?

I use Suave shampoos but will buy others if I have a coupon and the item is on sale. I find the secret is in rinsing really well and cooling down the rinse water to get shiny hair.

I like all kinds of shampoo's. I respond better to shampoos and conditioners with less additives to deal with my oily-ish hair. I like biolage, chi, tressemme, L'Oreal,

Most of those high end companies are owned by drugstore makeup companies and nice versa. It doesn't matter how much you spend, just what works for your hair.

For shampoo I get suave of VO5 which makes my hair really soft sometimes! It is usually from $1 to $7. For conditioner I use Aussie 3 minute miracle and loyal something.
