Am I a mean bday girlfriend?
So my bday is coming up soon and I asked my bf to sing me a particular song that I really like and have it video taped. He declined saying he cannot sing, when in fact, he sang in a choir before and sings daily. I persisted and got angry because he refused. I am not speaking to him because I think that if someone loves you, asking for a favor such as mine should be easy to do. Am I being mean?

No i dont think you are if its your wish he should just do it but he can be insecure about it but i think he should

Does he do this all the time or just about this one favor? If he does it all the time then be MEANER, but if he usually does sweet favors for you and this is an isolated case then be more understanding.
I don't know how much pressure you may be putting on him, and you may be making him more defensive. He may be very self conscience. GOOD LUCK and Happy Birthday!

That's extremely rude. Just because he's dating you does not give you the right to abuse him. How would you like it if he said, "We're dating so that means I want you to throw out your clothes because you have a terrible fashion sense."
He doesn't feel comfortable stop acting like a child. You should feel comfortable in a relationship, stop peer pressuring him.
