Cuddling with best friend (I'm a male she's a female)?

So this girl I had a crush on for a long time friendzoned me more than once and for over a year we've been great friends. I've slipped up and tried to make moves on her while we were drinking and she has always stopped me. She recently moved halfway across the country for college so we've only seen eachother a couple times in the last month and we were drinking with our friends one night and we were arguing with eachother all night (about stupid **** as asual) then she ended up cuddling up to me on the couch then when I went to bed she came in and laid next to me and she was talking about how her roomate cuddles with her best guy friend and it's fine (sounding like she was justifying herself) I avoided the advance (imagine that) but eventually we ended up falling asleep in eachother's arms with her head on my chest. Nothing else happened. I've been drunk around her many times and she has never been like this (not to me atleast). Was it the alcohol? Did she just change? was this platoni
