If Saints have to settle for a wildcard..?

It depends on who is calling the plays for the Saints. The Saints offense has been more explosive under Carmichael, so if he calls the plays the Saints have a chance to make a run in the post season. Sean Payton is a great head coach, but something is missing when he calls the plays as the Saints seem stagnate at times and they loss that explosiveness. Unless Payton gives up the play calling duties than the Saints might just be one and done. If the Saints are a 6th seed they might have a chance against that three seed being either the Eagles, Cowboys, Bears, or Packers, because non of those teams are that great, but expect the Saints to lose in the second round against the Seahawks.

The Saints are in trouble if they go to Philadelphia, the Eagles are playing better than any one right now. I think they have a shot against Bears, Packers or 49ers. Even on the road.

My brother who is an Eagles fan thinks Drew Brees is a legend and that he will lead his team past our Eagles team. But then again, my brother is a big Michael Vick fan and thought Vick was so much better than Foles. You know what I think will happen if Brees has to come to Philly to play my Eagles? I think my Eagles tear that Saint defense apart and I think the Eagles underrated defense that averaged only giving up 18 points a game the past 9 games before that vikings game shut down Drew Brees and the Saints offense.

But I'm not trying to look past the Cowboys because I'm not sure we beat the Cowboys because Nick Foles and the entire Eagles Team has to prove that they can beat the team that embarrassed them earlier this year. Our defense did their job in the Cowboys game to some degree, but our offense was an embarrassment in that game.

If they go on the road they will play one of the worst defenses in the league. Dallas, Philly, Chicago,or Green Bay are all bad defenses
