Do you think this relationship would work?
There is this guy I like and he likes me, but it is weird because we are complete opposites in every single way.
He is a baseball player, does ok in school, 3.5 GPA for reference, he likes to party, drinks, chews tobacco. He is the kinda guy that everybody at our school knows and is friends with everybody.
I am a cross-country runner, track and swimmer. I do not drink, smoke, and never will. I don't like to go to parties and am very involved in school, church, sports, and other outside activities, School is my first priority and I am an honor roll 4.4 GPA student.
I just feel like our lifestyles are so different, we have close to nothing in common besides the two classes we have together. He has told me he really likes me and I like him too, but I don't see the point in a relationship where we don't enjoy anything the other likes to do. Just in general what are your thoughts on the situtation? Have you been in a similar situation? What have been your experineces?
Sorry it so long, btw we are both 17.

I dated a guy who was friends with everyone, partied hard, drank, did all kinds of drugs, doesn't care about the environment and had no morals.
I am Christian, I have morals, no sex before marriage, etc., I do not and will not ever do drugs or get drunk, I am on the recycling committee, school newspaper, and our styles are completely different. We had nothing in common.
But we dated for six months a year ago, we broke up because he could not be faithful at parties not really because our differences, he is still in love with me. (Not conceited he just tells me everyday. Also I am not saying your guy will be unfaithful because of differences, mine was just an ***) You will find something you both can enjoy together; movies, games, local places to hangout, restaurants, or just simply each other's company. It is worth a shot, I hope if you take the chance you two work out. :) keep in mind, opposites attract!
