Can I get cash back on prepaid Visa or MasterCard gift cards?

I bought $200 Visa and MasterCard prepaid gift cards at Staples ($400 total). They had a deal with a $15 rebate on each card, and the fees were $6.95 each, so I'm making a profit, plus I get 5% cash back on the credit card I used for the purchase.

I want to know if there is a way to get cash back from these cards. I would rather pay by credit card where I usually get at least 2% cash back (depending on the card used and what I buy with it). I don't want to get the cash back at an ATM or bank, because even if it was allowed, I'm sure there would be a large fee. If I have to I'll just use it on purchases and bills that I would pay anyway.

I know at Target when I use my Red Card (which is a Target debit card linked to my checking account), I can get cash back up to $40 with my purchase. Would that work with one of these prepaid cards? Then I could go to the supermarket and spend 20 cents or so on a banana and get $40 cash back. The customer service desk at my local supermarket (Pathmark) said that I wouldn't be able to do that. Would this work at any other supermarkets, Target, Walmart, anywhere else?

Update:

Shoshanna, I don't think we have too many rights left as Americans. When I went through security going back from Vegas, the full body scanner wasn't good enough so the TSA officer had me take my cash out of my pocket and had to feel the bills to make sure I wasn't hiding any weapons inside. But at JFK, I forgot to take off my belt with a metal belt buckle and no one noticed. I'm giving you best answer because I see you only have 203 points, and besides, no one else is going to answer my stupid question and I should just call the number on the back of the card. The only reason I have so many points is because I used to be unemployed and had a lot of free time. If you could tell me how to convert that into cash, that would be impressive.

Banamex and Bancomer. Probably other banks have them too.
