do filipino people yell "ippy" or "yppie" when they are happy?

Is it Tagalog?

    Nope. I don't know if it's Tagalog (a local dialect in the Philippines) but it's definitely not Filipino (the local/national language).

    A lot of people I hear when they are happy yell swear words along with an adjective that describes their current emotions.

    More Yehey than Yippie. I've never heard a Filipino say yippie or ippy before. The most common word I hear them say when they're happy is YAY!

    No. When happy the closest word to "yippie" that Filipinos yell is "Yehey!"

    Usually Filipinos use "yehey"! But some also use yippie, as you know not everybody is the same. And no,it's not tagalog.

    we say YEHEY! or YE BOY!

    never heard nor thought about ippie, yppie or yippie in my entire life

    I have been coming here since 2000 & have NEVER heard any Filipino yell either word!

    So I would say No they do not.
