The main thing to remember is that weight loss is a process that takes time and as you probably have figure out, it is a mental battle rather than a physical one. There will be times that you go off for a bit in a process of a long term controlled eating. That's ok-you are human-but do not to let a bad moment become a bad day and then a bad week. The important bit here is that you need to change your whole lifestyle not just your body for now. Eg, if you feel in a week that you need to eat a bar of chocolate go for it just don't eat the pizza, the burgers and the cheesecake just because you had a small craving. You probably think that you ruined the day's diet so you might as well have sth else and then a bad day becomes a bad week.

You always have to pick up yourself and start again.Tiring, exhausting , physically and mentally? You bet, but weight loss is one of the most difficult things you will go through, keep it in mind. Quick results are unnatural in weight loss.Keep on & good luck

Type 2 diabetes. It is not that hard to beat it.

    1) Exercise

    2) Avoid beef fat and butter

    3) Less deep fried food

    4) More non-starchy vegetables and fruits

    5) Skip soda and drink alkaline water(pinch of baking soda(not powder)) but if you are old then probably need to buy machine since you don't want extra salt.

    6) Brown rice(some modern varieties are pretty good tasting).

    7) Replace hamburger with lean top sirloin

    8) Ham instead of spam or bacon

    9) Gardenia plants (all parts) can be eaten.

    10) Cinnamon(take it as herbal medicine)

    11) Replace sugar/nutrasweet with stevia (probably only need like 1/10 or less)

    12) Replace butter with extra virgin olive oil after the cooking

    13) Eat extra watery oat meal as soup(ie 1 oat meal 2-4 part water)

    14) Wash it extra good and lemon/orange add with salad etc., or perhaps lemonade with stevia.

    15) Eat little bit nuts

    16) Eat fish

    17) Eat flux seed

    18) beans and vegitables

    19) Eat as little processed food as possible

    20) Standup much as possible

    21) Dance

    22) Sports

    23) Run

Alkaline water and oat meal sort of help kill the appetite too.

    Losing weight

    1. Same as diabetes

    2. Checkup with doctor, especially cortisone levels if you are 50lbs or move over weight

    3. If you are female, take estrogen supplement since body don't produce enough for fat people

The key is not in how much you eat - it's in what you eat.

If you go on a diet that requires you to limit your food intake, you will have a hard time stopping mid-meal to meet that requirement. Conversely, eating however much you want with a restriction on what you are eating will let you feel satisfied.

Limiting the type of snack is the hardest thing to accomplish. Make sure to learn many smoothie recipes, and start out by buying "crisps" for every snack that you get. After you get comfortable with this, buy food with low to no calories (like the flavourless rice cakes, and after you are past the stage of lying to yourself and telling yourself that they taste good, you'll stop eating that crap altogether!). After you get used to this. Switch to fruits. If possible, switch to fruits right away (before the snack switch). For main meals, eat lean meats and stay away from fatty foods and salad dressing. As you progress, cut some carbs out (carbs are energy sources; once you choke these sources out, the only energy source left is your body fat).

    Oh, P.S.,

GET SOME FRIGGEN EXERCISE TOO. JUST DO IT. DON'T CRY ABOUT IT. JUST GET OFF YOUR *** AND DO IT NOW.

Hope it helps, the key is to watch what you eat and go slow. Don't dive right into an athlete's diet. Feel free to dive into an athlete's exercise plan, however.

buy a big bag of tasty apples. every time you feel like snacking, eat an apple instead. Throw all sweets and junk food out of your house. I find that after a good workout i don't feel like eating anything, even sweets. Immediate results are impossible, just keep exercising and you will notice that you are starting to loose weight. I find that running is the fastest way to loose fat. I started with jogging 1.5 km and now i do 6km and i'm really happy with my body. Nobody can make you do it unless you make yourself. Good luck :)
