Atheist do you take steps to seperated your self from matteral bonds?

Other than control that is the whole point of religion, allot of religious folk are oblivious to this the only pertinent point that the standardized religions have to offer.

I mean for instance money doesn’t mean a whole lot to a spiritual type hippy (there is good and bad with it you know). Atheist would be more focused building up the tangable things that they have more so than embrace happyness (again there is good and bad), I know yall know this, yall have ethics and all that but it has to be difficult or different to actualy remain a blanced person. Ps I have more faith in atheist than the blind followers. I hope i wrote this in a way that can be understood - thanks

Your pseudo-intellectual rant is evidence only of your lack of knowledge on the subject of materialism. You see, what you speak of is an inherently christian trait (see "prosperity gospel"), materialism is the hypothesis that everything in the universe is made up of material.

If you mean separation from material bonds as in death, I do not seek it, however, I am prepared as I might be.

I have no debt, cemetery lots are paid for, a current will and advance medical directive is in place, &c.
