Atheist do you take steps to seperated your self from matteral bonds?

Seperate from matteral bonds like deriving lifes happness out of matteral objects like xbox or a corvette insteed of deriving happness from calm collective and peacefull mind state strait from the source the mind.

Other than control that is the whole point of religion, allot of religious folk are oblivious to this the only pertinent point that the standardized religions have to offer.

I mean for instance money doesn’t mean a whole lot to a spiritual type hippy (there is good and bad with it you know). Atheist would be more focused building up the tangable things that they have more so than embrace happyness (again there is good and bad), I know yall know this, yall have ethics and all that but it has to be difficult or different to actualy remain a blanced person. Ps I have more faith in atheist than the blind followers.

How do you deal with that? I'm just a curious gnostic that believes matter is energy, energy is life and the universe is a in a cycle 333

Update:

James you right enjoy the hell out that corvette its the little piece of freedom that you deserve to have. But im looking for the philosophy on the subject not trying to say that you souldnt fell gulty at all.

“Materialism, attachment to things of the world, includes pride. Many religious people suffer from pride: taking pleasure or even delight in being good, or religious.”

― Idries Shah, Sufi Thought and Action

If one realizes the evanescent nature of things, one is no longer attached to them, and thus frinds peace. Mental disturbance and pain are caused by our attachment to transitory objects, taking them to be permanent. CHAPTER XI - P71 - ASTAVAKRA SAMHITA

It is difficult for me, an educated person, to take the content of your question seriously, with so many incorrect spellings.

All you have exhibited by your question is your complete lack of education, and even your inability to use spell-check.

If you want to play with the adults, wait til you grow up.

Look, my government is determined to make sure i spend the majority of my life as little more than a cow in a tie. I'll enjoy my ******* corvette, and i refuse to feel guilty for it. Having fun is what makes being alive tolerable.

My life seems to be doing a pretty good job of separating me from material bonds without my help. It would be nice just t be able to afford to fix the roof.

I can't find matteral in my dictionary. You seem to be describing material things. Ir so, then no. The world and its people are all material. I have no desire to remove myself from reality!

And I must point that I found at least a dozen misspellings in your question. You managed to misspell "happiness" twice!

    What is a "matteral bond"?

    Speak English please.

As for separating myself from material things, I think I'll stick to the fine example that christian leaders have set, and gather as MUCH materiel things around me as I possibly can thank you very much!

Atheist - does not believe in god. That is all.

Stop trying to attribute a bunch of other generalizations to atheists in the vain hope that you justify your own position.
