Calendar still not working - error 500 - does Yahoo even care?

Posted this issue a week ago and was told that it would be forwarded to tech support.

Since then..... silence. Come on Yahoo, Marissa, get your act together or Yahoo will drift off into the same land of irrelevance as myspace, and the blackberry.

To repeat, the issue is happening regardless of browser or computer. It happens in Firefox (latest version) and IE (also latest, also with compatibility checked or not) on three different computers.

Interestingly, opening a different Yahoo calendar under another Yahoo login works fine (on the same machines as above), also no matter what browser or computer. This would indicate to me that the problem lies on Yahoo's end and is somehow associated with my account.

Update:

Thanks Trooper. Here's the message on one of the pages you linked to.:

Blank page when accessing Yahoo Calendar or Error "We're encountering technical difficulties"

This article describes a current issue that is causing a blank page or error page being displayed when users try to access the Yahoo Calendar. Some error messages that may occur due to this error:

"We're encountering technical difficulties"

"Internal Server Error"

"Connection Time Out Error"

Currently there is an issue causing a blank page or one of the error messages listed above that is affecting some Yahoo Calendar users.

WORKAROUND: None

STATUS: We are currently working on this and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

Note that the page and issue in question are dated JUNE of 2013! Which brings me back to my original question.

DOES YAHOO EVEN CARE? Really, a known issue which directly affects a core functionality of their web site? Sin

Update 2:

since June? No workaround? Pathetic...
