What is wrong with my Yahoo?

It is possible that you have a bad cache file; Yahoo is infamous for corrupting cache files, for some reason. Sign out, clear your history, temporary files (be patient) & cookies, then RESTART (essential) the computer and retry. Or you can simply try pressing F5 (refresh) a few times along the way. The new site is a bit glitch these days.

I am getting the same BS. It's probably a Chrome thing. Chrome is the best but it's crazy unstable. Either Google is trying too hard or spreading itself too thin.

CONFIRMED: I am not having this issue on Firefox. Firefox is always my second line of defense: boring and lackluster but reliable.

Here is a short list I made of things which have not been working on Chrome:

* Amazon Prime Instant Video //Silverlight kept crashing

* IPB admin layer (CSS/HTML Templates) //slow and often crashing while trying to edit files

* HostGator Live Chat - Sept - Nov 2013 //session will not open after wait

* Harvard CS50.tv - Sept-Nov 2013 //buggy subtitle interface, predictable crashes halfway through video

* Yahoo Answers - 27 Dec 2013 //submit button does nothing

I agree with the above about the cache problem and will add that it seems to hit the toys small than a desk or laptop and suggest you do that regularly during the day, particularly if you are visiting a lot of different websites
