How to work out lower stomach?

Ive always had a petite body, the only problem I've had is my stomach. My stomach is flat, i have the line going down my stomach. Between my hip bones is flat but about 1/2 inch above my belly button to about 2 inches below it are always swollen or showing more so when i wear pants that area shows and i dont like it. I do cardio almost everyday for 40 mins- 1 hour along with ab workouts everyday. What can i do to focus on that specific area

Hi Diva, if you have a line down your stomach, you are in really great shape! For good lower ab workouts, here are some suggestions:

    - leg raises on a chest dip stand

    - bicycle

    - full leg extensions for abs (hold dumbbell in hand)

    - flutter kicks

    - plank

My personal favorite for lower abs workouts is leg raises on the dip stand.

Also, you would probably get better results if you commit 2 days per week to a proper ab workout routine. Just like building any muscle, you want to engage your core and focus on quality reps.

Anyways, I hope you find this helpful and if you have any other questions or need more advice on ab workouts, then you can always visit the resource below.

    Good luck to you.

what ab workout do you do? you can do leg lifting if you go to gym? or leg raise when youre at home? you can add ankle weights to add difficulty. you can improvise your own with socks and put sand in it if you want. planking does help with the core as well. even squats. :)

btw, whats your diet tho? cos if you're eating carbs and sugary foods, then that can make it hard to lose the flab.
