Can the FBI lock or monitor your computer?

For breaking a law?

    No. The FBI would get a warrant and seize your computer. Simply locking it doesn't prevent you from hiding or destroying evidence.

    If you have a warning from the FBI, it is a virus. If they are asking for money, it is a scam.

    If you search "FBI virus", you will get instructions for removal.

    They need a court order for user information. Look on when you signed up for Yahoo. It is in the user agreement. If law enforcement gets a court order they will allow them to look under your user name.

    Warming; face book , twitter, yahoo, and instagram are in the public forum, law enforcement does not need a court order and can be used against you in a court of law.
