is this a stuoid exhast idea?

So I just got a 2011 v6 mustang. Natually I want it to sound better more like its big brother the 5.0 however im low on money. What lowbudget LEGAL exhaust set up would you recomend? (No straight pipe)

My wierd idea is what if I cut off 1 of the 2 mufflers, so it might be leagl and sound good, idk if thatl work.

the only thing stuoid is posting this twice and misspelling stupid both times....also the only way to make a V6 sound anything like a V8 is to add 2 more cylinders.

That will not work well. You will hear one side and not the other. Very unbalanced. Unfortunately to get the 3.7L motor to sound its best you need expensive mufflers. Some guys have tried putting GT500 mufflers on but the sound is only marginally better and not really worth the expense.

Check this link for some reviews and even straight pipe sounds.

You do realize that those mufflers are free-flowing and really don't block much, right?

    If not, you're welcome.
