Would you buy a GTX 680 for $150-$200 if the seller told you it artifacts and doesn't display signal?

It's still under transferable warranty from EVGA for 2 more years, and the seller doesn't want to deal with EVGA customer service so he's willing to discount it about $150 so you'd send it in for servicing in his stead.

i wouldn't touch a broken graphics card for that price.

why would someone sell a graphics card for you to do a warranty claim when they could do it and get a new card and sell it.

there is going to be some other issue with the card, might not be covered under the warranty. by the time you get the card, sort out warranty, send it in for repairs/exchange you wont be able to get your money back if it's through ebay/paypal. as it's sold as a broken card and you cant claim after 40 days.

there are some GTX 680's that are working and have sold on ebay for that price.

    I say go for it

Since it's transferable you can RMA it and get back a refurbished one

Also it's a chance it might not be bad and the problem could have been with his/her system

edit. insane has a good point on it's damage might not fall under warranty
