and im using windows 8.1 64 bit (only because it has a newer version of direct X and i need that for gaming)

    you dont need the thermal paste, and you will need a better fan than the stock on the fx, maybe this one http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-Plus-RR-...

    also make sure your case has enough room for the 780 (just checked for you it does fit fine), other than that it looks pretty good

    What D said. Also, you don't need a fancy case. Fancy cases cost money and are pointless. You don't look at the case, you look at the screen where everything happens. Get an i5 3570k and a 1155 socket motherboard. I always go with Intel because they run cooler and have better performance. You don't need an 800 watt power supply unless you plan to SLI in the future.
