Evidence that videogames desensitise children to violence.?

I am 15 and have recently read several articles online talking about studies that have shown that videogames can desensitise a child to violence.

I understand peoples' concerns, especially parents but I find it insulting that people think teenagers are so easily manipulated.

One of the studies mentioned by cbs talked about how students who played violent videogames had less brain activity when they were shown a violent picture. These findings verry well could be 100% accurate, but would the results be any different if the subject had watched a violent movie instead of playing a violent video game?

Can video games manipulate people into committing terrible crimes? Of course they can, but so can any other form of media. In the late 1930s, one man manipulated nearly an entire country into condoning the genocide of 6 million people. So should we not talk to people? I would like to hear the perspective of a real parent on this matter giving me insight as to why video games are so bad.
