Can I join a closed group on facebook without anyone knowing?

I want to join a closed group without it appearing on my news feed or fb page and no one besides the people in the group knowing I'm in that group. How can I do this?

    ya firstly change your settings show activity to only me then join group

    Yes you can, but the members of that group will get in their newsfeed
