What deck should i build for January 2014 format (Yugioh)?

looking for something decently budget and good, i already have geargia karakuri for competitive purposes, so i would like something less competitive and more fun.

    - Gravekeeper's are really cheap right now, and they could become high tier once their new support comes out next month, so that's a good choice. I feel that they're going to get more popular over the next month or so.

    - Lightsworns are also dirt cheap to build (if you get all cards on lowest rarities), and will get better once their new monsters come out. However, the new monsters (Raiden, Minerva, Michael) are NOT even confirmed to be coming out in the TCG, so I wouldn't be to eager to build LS based on them. But without the new monsters, LS is still fun, competitive, and cheap.

    - T.G. Agents (what I play). T.G. Striker back at 3, choice of running a 2nd copy of Chaos Sorcerer, and didn't lose any copies of any cards. A bit of a slower deck, but it has consistency and a lot of different play options with multiple boss monsters in the main and an all-purpose Extra deck. Plus, getting an Archlord Kristya on the field can basically be an auto-win against some decks, like this next one-

    - Six Sam: not too expensive since most of the cards for the main come in common. They didn't get Gateway back, but they don't really need it either. The most expensive card for the deck that I can name off the top of my head is probably Naturia Beast/Barkion, which both sell for no more than 10$ each.

    - Dark World can be pretty fun and troll-like, while still being relatively competitive. The main deck is pretty cheap since most cards either come in low rarities, in the structure deck, or reprinted in Joey's World. The deck does have consistency issues, but there are a lot of different techs that you can experiment with. The only thing that can get expensive is the Extra deck, but that's only if you go all out and buy a lot of Rank 8 Xyz's. Beware of the fact that a lot of people hate DW and might hate you for playing it, lol.

    - Exodia. It's pretty much always competitive, and it's pretty troll. However, it can be a pretty auto-pilot type of deck, so the novelty and fun factor could wear off pretty quickly.

I don't think there is a viable option for an archer deck. To build a deck, it's best to focus on a attribute or type, eg. water decks, warrior decks, blah, blah, blah. Then there are cards made to be played as a set like the archfiend cards. I don't there have been any archer theme cards though, at least not enough to make a deck out of.

I am not a serious duelist or anything, sort of a small town guy... However, I have had an idea for the past few months. Its sort of old skool but I was thinking a deck utilizing King Dragun and high level normal dragons i.e. Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Tri-Horned Dragon, Rabidragon, etc. Also using stuff like ancient rules, I havent tried it yet but feel it could be powerful with the right support. Also fusions like Five- Headed Dragon and Blue-eyes ultimate dragon and xyz like Thunder end dragon, Dragluon, or Sun dragin overlord of heliopolis. Take it or leave it but I think it would be fun and powerful.

    Have Fun!

Fiend decks are awesome i love fiends

(Earthbound immortal deck yo otk that deck!!!) Darkworlds are hurtin but discarding is a troll playstyle forsure, can mix with earthbound immortals ((and fiends

Like phantom of chaos + injection fairy banished : attack directly using Shadow delver thats another reason i like fiend cards 3400 burn like Ccapac Apu the main reason i built my deck >.<))

Have your opponent wondering what the heck your doing thus giving them minimal control nO matter what they do which is why i like playing yugioh/fiends. ^_^

Fiends also got quite a bit of new support for traps and the like, but never as much support as light/dragon decks.

    Anybody feel that way too??..

I would say that a wind-up deck would be one of the cheapest and still very good.

    It's Your Choice.

Yu-Gi-Oh is whatever you make it to be

Yu-Gi-Oh Decks are made to your liking

Having somebody else tell you the answer to a question you know the answer to yourself is illogical (+ you lose Yahoo answers points)

    Create whatever deck you want

    Hope I helped
