What should be the name of my new religion?
I'm thinking of a start-up religion based upon the feminine divine, which takes a completely different view of creation than other religions.
Basically creation is a pregnancy, it is living thing and as with the highest level of living things it started with nothing and became...something...which grew and became more complex as time went on.
Sound familiar?
Anyway, I can't use Gaianism because it's taken already. Not that I mind, what they do is a beautiful thing, I just wish there was a name as familiar as Gaia. I can't use Eywa because of legal issues and, lets face it, if you haven't seen the movie the word is just a weird typo. I can't use Asherah because she doesn't quite fit the bill.
Any suggestions?
P.S. I'm not looking for names like: Heathen, Pagan, Idolator, Fool, Demon, Rubbish, Gibberish, Jibber Jabber, Poppycock (or Poopycock for that matter) "It's all lies" or "I'll pray for you".
@Pancho: Where and how did I equate my statement to feminism?
@Gat: although I really do like Snoo Snoo (see what I did there?), I can't use it.
@Nissy Mimi: I'm pretty sure refers to a place. What's more that place is significant to a religion that already exists (I really want to scream that last bit).
@Marc: Love your work. I'm ignoring him cause of his excessive use of the return key.
@WiseCrack: I'd like to agree with you, but I think the only thing that can actually get rid of religion, is a new religion. Sorry.
@Amrit: I notice some strenuous negativity from you. You wouldn't be muslim by any chance?
@Psalm 111:7-10: Obviously this is a question about evolution. To answer your question: Yes, everything evolves, including creation itself. I thought I made that clear.

There is no such thing as inventing religion. Only a supreme egotist would say such a thing. And feminism isn't religion. It's delusion. All you're going to do is create a group of believers, which is exactly what Christianity is - and Christianity doesn't quality as religion either. It needs to be pointed out that you don't know what religion is. If you did, you'd know that it can't be invented. Religion is based on eternal principles, not on feminism, which is a narrow, political, anal approach to life. I think you need a hobby ...

I honestly don't understand why you would need a whole new religion with its own name for that belief. It sounds like a belief you could easily hold while practicing any other goddess religion.

Does God Approve of All Religions?
Some people think that all religions are pleasing to God. The following Bible verses show that this is not true:
● “The sons of Israel again proceeded to do what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah, and they began to serve the Baals and the Ashtoreth images and the gods of Syria and the gods of Sidon and the gods of Moab and the gods of the sons of Ammon and the gods of the Philistines. So they left Jehovah and did not serve him. At this Jehovah’s anger blazed against Israel.” (Judges 10:6, 7) If we worship idols or any god other than the true God, we will not have Jehovah’s approval.
● “This people honor me [God] with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach as doctrines commands of men.” (Mark 7:6, 7) If people claiming to worship God teach their own ideas instead of what the Bible teaches, their worship is in vain. It is not acceptable to God.
● “God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.” (John 4:24) Our worship must be in harmony with the truth of God’s Word.

>"The feminine divine", that you refer to, already exists.
>The "Shekinah".
I suggest you learn some hebrew. Instead of pretending to be knowledgeable.
