When I click on a link it goes to a.targetadvertising.com?

It always redirects me to that site and I have to X out of it. How can I remove that issue?

You likely have what is called a browser hijack. Try downloading and running Malwarebytes, http://www.malwarebytes.org/ . Or, change browsers and see whether the problem persists.
