Should I get my rabbit nuetered?
So today I had him on the leash and I was walking him, and he suddenly straightened up, flexed his ears, and began running circles around my feet. I went onto a higher surface and he put his paws on the edge like he wanted to get up. Eventually he got up, circles some more, so I went to lower surface. He followed, circled, and I hopped to the high surface again. It went on like that, and I heard him grunting too. I know this means that he wants to mate with me, but what I am not sure of is if that is enough to get him nuetered. Like, is it a big deal? My parents aren't like " OH yeah we can totally get him nuetered, it's fine!" They are more like "wellllll.... Maybe.,.." So it would be awesome if someone could tell me if I should get him nuetered

This may be just the beginning. It could escalate to where he will begin spraying you with urine (yuck!). So keep an eye for other hormonal signs as well. Neutering him will prevent this hormonal behavior. An added bonus of neutering is that neutered bunnies tend to litter train more readily and the odor of male urine is significantly lessened.

And unneutered rabbit can get quite mean while not all do if you experience this in a rabbit and you don't intend on breeding then I would go ahead and price out getting him fixed it is better for them in the long run!:)

Rabbits will grunt when they are happy or excited, they also like to play like a cat or a puppy, mine has a favorite ball he plays with....just sounds like a very happy rabbit to me....

It is always best to get rabbits neutered. He thinks you are his mate and this will only frustrate and stress him.
