because ur a shy guy, I used to have terrible stage freight, I later on just stopped being scared, more like accepting my fears instead of being burdened with them. If u got model looks then u can prob get a ton of chicks but girls rarely approach boys and ask them out in hs (imo). So if u like a chick then ask her out, also girls looking at u can mean many things. U can lose ur virginity whenever u think ur ready, there's a never too late or too early, just that people look down upon those gaps. girls prob say ur weird and awk because that might be true, be confident and that opinion will go away, work on ur fears
