why doesn't my ipad charger work?
i use the charger for a iphone and ipad and it still works in iphone but it stopped working on the ipad,why?

The power adapter for the iPhone and iPad are different. If you're using the iPhone adapter for the iPad, it should still charge but it is going to be incredibly slow. Let's say your iPad is dead and you use the iPhone adapter to charge it overnight. When you wake up in the morning 8 hours later, you'll find that the iPad only charged 20-30%. The iPad requires a bigger adapter in order to fully charge in a reasonable amount of time. Now, if it's not charging at all. Then there is something wrong with the iPad.

You could have gotten water or any kind of liquid or something in the chager port for the iPad. Shine a light in and see if there is any corrosion or anything. Lastly, you can try taking it to an Apple store, but guarantee they will say water damage, they never actually check or care.
