Can I get this judge recused from my case?

Cut to the chase: had to file a writ of mandamus to get the judge to do his job, decided a motion against me but defendants didn't even respond to the motion, extended discovery deadlines on his own without any party filing a motion to extend discovery in an effort to help the defendants gain evidence for there case. Do I have sufficient grounds to recuse this judge?

No. The judge can extend the discovery if he wants to and he probably has a good reason, like getting a response to the motion in question. Some things don't always go by the book. Other things do, to the T, however.

Filing a motion to recuse is a very sensitive subject and should often only be used as a last resort unless evidence for bias is readily available. There is a lot of information on this subject at this site http://www.judicialrecusal.com/

You have a lawyer, talk to him. In most cases you can get ONE judge removed from a case. Be careful of what you do because the next judge may be worse.
