2 rings of death on Xbox 360?

I keep getting two red rings on my Xbox. I don't think its overheating. I can get on YouTube to listen to music for hours with no problems. when I try to play a game I get red ringed. It can be instant without a chance of getting hot or let me play for nearly an hour before it happens. Any ideas?

    2 red lights is overheating. Games are much more demanding that just YouTube or music, so it's more likely to overheat when gaming than doing other stuff.

    if this happens to me, i'd say **** this piece of **** and get a gaming pc
