    Laxatives are unhealthy.

Constipation is often due to an unhealthy diet with insufficient fiber.

Most people don't eat enough fiber.

Wheat germ, wheat bran and Chia seeds are very high fiber foods and there is also a lot of fiber in fruit and vegetables.

Both constipation and IBS as well as diarrhea can be cured with liquid chlorophyll as in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22liquid+chlo...

Other natural ways to relieve constipation are covered in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22natural+way...

eating more high fibre foods will serve to bulk your faeces and provide a bigger bolus to move through your intestines ...... that sounds like trying to decongest a traffic jam by adding another stream of cars ... i think you should include more good fats in your diet ...... fat is essential in the production of bile ... bile is essential in the production of stomach acid ... good fats like good quality butter, coconut oil, eggs, avocadoes meat, chicken fish (with the fat on) .... ditch seed oils, vegetable oils, margarine ... industrialised highly inflammatory garbage ..... imho it's over consumption of grains and sugar that bloats constipates aggravates our digestion.... make yourself some bone broth soup to aide digestion too ... i've attached a link for you .... i am not a physician .... just been alive a long time xoxo
