What is the secret of immortality in your opinion?

The secret isn't one. It is the acceptance that the causes we make will ripple forever.

I wouldn't say it is a secret, just a little known fact. The matter is one of identification. Most people tend to identify with the body and a material existence, hence one is subject to mortality because material form and matter is temporary and fleeting. However, it the East their is the belief that one is not the body, but rather the Immortal Soul that inhabits the body. The soul is not subject to death and mortality, therefore identifying with it as 'me' make one immortal. At the core of almost all religious and spiritual faith is the teaching that we are the Immortal Soul, and that this life is meant to be used to prepare for the next, whether it is another earthly incarnation or an eternal after life.

What is the secret to mortality? To ask yourself why people age and die in the first place...

Is infirmity really the result of chronological age? No, I think not. I think that biological age is the result of lifestyle choices... what we expose ourselves to.

The secret to immortality is preventing aging in the first place... by treating your body and mind like the temple youre supposed to treat it as.

That is step one, at the very least, to longevity.
