Why do adults refer to N166eR as 'the n word'?

First off i never really saw anyone spell "******" that way..pretty creative. But no black adult hardly ever says "******" they say "*****" so I'm just gonna guess you mean white adults. That word is a very ignorant word but there have been many names for all different types of groups such as wetbacks or spics for Mexicans and Hispanic people- which is very ignorant too. White people are always on edge about saying the n word because for someone reason there is still some division between races to this day. But when you listen to rap songs its hard to avoid it. White people are somewhat prohibited from saying that word or they will get beat up by a black person. But you see black people say it almost everyday..i know i do but i really need to stop. If I heard a white person saying that word freely i would most definitely fight them.

If they said the actual word in casual conversation, odds are that someone near by would freak out and call the person a racist.

For the very obvious reason that full word is offensive, so they use a shorthand version.

"We" don't say any of this you're referring to, particularly the racist, ignorant, foolish terms. Most adults have a better awareness of people, and of their vocabulary. Words like "black", "white", or in your post, "rude or nasty woman" are common.
