Sugar glider acting weird?
I just got him Monday or Tuesday. He was skittish but let me touch him and woke up at 9 or so at night. He ate perfectly fine and drank water. Now today, he didn't want to come out of the pouch, in fact he is still inside and it is 10 PM. I found some diarrhea in his litter so I don't know what's wrong. Other than some diarrhea and the usual shyness and not coming out of his pouch yet he seems alert and responsive if I try to interact with him.

I agree with Chase. Also, please get another. Not to go on and on, but without a friend they can develop health problems, it can shorten their life span, and the quality of it. No matter how much attention you can offer, a human can't be a snuggle buddy.
Also, the minimum size cage for a pair/trio is 24" L x 12" W x 36" H
They're great pets!

I've had sugar gliders for a couple years now. I'd say it's just stress. Leave him/her be for a while. It takes some time for them to warm up to you.
