Can the doctors tell my parents about a positive drug test?

So basically I'm going to the doctors this week for some problems I've been having. They're going to drug test me. Obviously it's going to turn out positive because I smoke weed. (And I've smoked in the past couple of weeks) can they tell my parents? Or like can I get in trouble ? If you're just going to say how weed is bad and to stop smoking please don't even comment because I'm not going to listen.

Yeah if you're a minor. Will you get in trouble? The doctor probably won't do anything else but tell your parents. It's really up to your parents if they want to ground you or not. You can't get into any legal trouble unless you have more pot on you or in your room. If that's the case, You're going to have to hide or get rid of the stuff before your parents find out. If your parents are pot smokers themselves, They won't mind too much. But if they're religious freaks or really against drugs, You're going to be in for it! I'm not against weed as it's only an herb. I don't know how your parents are though.

If you are under 18, your medical records are open to your parents.
