Should I buy my 12 year old son a 5c?
My 12 year old son has A grades in all his classes except 1 in which he has a B-. He currently has a 5 year old nokia express music 5800. It can call and text but cant access internet or send pictures. Also it has a much smaller game choice for games compared to the 5c. He also said on a smart phone he can send messages for free using FB or KIK. Plus he said he wouldn't ask for another phone until the 9s comes out. Should I buy it for him or not? Also mention what you would do.

This Christmas I have heard of many 12 year olds getting iPhones. I don't think it's right, but that's just my jealousy. Your son deserves it, so I say yes. It should last him a while, and will be a lot better than the phone he currently has. Most kids have smartphones, whether they're iPhones or not, so they can access the internet and have apps, etc. And yes, there are many apps he can get on an iPhone that will let him message friends just by using Wi-Fi, so that will save money. I would get him the phone :)

don't buy a 5c ,he needs a smartphone right ,just give him a simple android phone for a 12 year old 5c is "no way "
