What should I do with my hair?

I'm 13 years old, I have a diamond-shaped face and I'm around 152cm in height. My hair is straight and black, and it just reaches the bottom of my ribcage. It's quite thick too. I want to leave it until April (I want to donate it for my birthday in April) but my parents say I should cut it now because it's too long and flat and makes me look old. I think I look fine and I can just tie it in a ponytail/bun. Should I cut it now or go with my instincts and leave it until April?

Definitely leave it for your birthday!

I had really long hair before and my mom made me have it cut because she thought it would be 'easier to take care of' but that is so not true!

you can do so much more with longer hair!

If it's thick too, it sounds perfect! Leave it, don't get rid of it yet..

Maybe do some pretty fish tail plats and pull them round to the front? Or do a high messy bun? That always looks great on people who have long thick hair:)

I'm growing mine now, and I'd never cut it short again, I seriously regretted it. I recon you would as well.

    Hope this helps:)

keep it for your birthday just dont cut it too short whenever you do down to the chest is considered long hair and it might look better on you. The shorter a person's hair is the younger they look.

Leave it and try new styles like the fish tail braid.
