anyone out there with a Aquarius venus and mars?
Im a cancer sun leo venus and mars now involved with a capricorn sun aqaurius venus and mars. We dont talk unless were in person but i like it that way (we live on both ends of the country).2yrs ago we expressed our feelings towards each other and she said she would wait for me. 2yrs later I see her and tell her that I want to marry her. She insisted on going out on a date with me 3 nights in row, ditching her family and friends to be with me.Then she reveals a side where shes affectionate, warm, and caring. I've always saw her as emotionally detached. Even tho we're not together in a relationship, does our plan on getting married make any sense? Anways, she wants comittment before we take anything to the next level and with her Aquarius placements in her chart makes me think its too good to be true because you know what they say....

She wants to experience every stage of the relationship. Who just jumps in and gets married? To me, it looks like she knows what she wants & that is you. I am an aquarius sun & once i've made my mind up about someone, as in, I am REALLY into them, I will also make all the time in the world for that person, putting them up on a pedestal.
I've dated one person in the past with an aqua venus & they werent very affectionate but I knew what we were & had no fear of them leaving. My boyfriend now has an aqua venus and is very affectionate, warm, & loving & wants to be around me all the time. You should look into her moon sign for her feelings though. Also, I would look into the moon sign compatibility.
As for your venus signs, leo & aquarius, these are opposites & u know the saying "opposites attract." I pulled the compatibility from a website for you:
Venus in Leo with Venus in Aquarius
There's something special about your Venus Aquarius lover that pulls you in. You thrive in the gaze of such accepting eyes. You sense that what's unique, even far out, about you, will be whole heartedly smiled upon. You're magnetized by the dignity and very original sense of style exhibited here. You're natural friends and very social, perhaps meeting in a friend clique first.
You're attracted to the wierd sense of humor and individuality of your Venus Aquarius mate. This gets your mojo going, to be theatrical, make declarations and generally be over-the-top.
You're both fixed signs, and interested in exploring stability in love. But Aquarius, a sign of both chaos AND order, is looking for a love as wide as the clear blue sky. They thrive when they're actively engaged with many people, often big groups of all kinds. You desire to be the one and only, not one of many. If your Venus Aquarius wants to keep you, he or she will single you out, with some quality romancing.

I'd say trust the person before the chart. If it's too good to be true, I don't think it's due to the false advertising you're thinking her Aquarius Venus and Mars project. She's still a Capricorn after all. And before that, a human being. Thinking that a person is devoid of tenderness simply because of a sign/placement is where we start to mis-use astrology.
Sure, maybe things are happening really fast. Maybe you want to slow down and make sure you're both listening to your own hearts and not rushing into it out of fear or desperation. But if ya do, do it out of human considerations, not because you read in some cookbook that Aquarius = detached. (Also, what about you seeing her as "emotionally detached" was attractive to you in the first place? You must have known on some level that she had a warm heart or else you probably wouldn't have been thinking about her for the past 2 years)
It's certainly not standard to pop the question after so much time of not seeing someone but you guys are making up the rules. If the feeling is there -- especially after all that time away -- it sounds like something worth exploring. It's a risk to be sure, but falling in love is like that. You're also astrologically compatible :)

Yes, as cancer is compatible with aquarius and leo with capricorn. It's better than when only your sun signs are compatible.
