How many times did Al Gore give a speech on global warming on a record cold day.?

I already knew about the time in New York, but now I'm hearing whenever he gives a speech, it is on a record cold day. Yesterday I had to cancel XC skiing on account of warm weather, and you should hear people stammer when trying to explain that although it is raining in January here in Chicagoland, it'll turn to snow overnight. That happened about a year ago. Then I asked about forecasts that what snow we got would soon melt. You should have seen this person's eyes glaze over as he clumsily tried to change the subject. IMPORTANT- I REGARD GLOBAL WARMING AS A SCIENTIFIC ISSUE, NOT A POLITICAL ISSUE! Just tell me how many speeches he gave, and whether there were extremes of hot or cold that day. ANY POLITICIZING WILL BE REPORTED AS ABUSE!

I am not sure anyone has compiled the data you seek. You may have to investigate it yourself. You should be able to find Gore's speaking dates and find the temperatures at the locations at the time.

I agree that the data you seek is somewhat irrelevant, however. Climate change is measured by changes over many years over large geographic areas. Climate change has always occurred...that is the nature of the interaction between Earth's dynamic systems.

Al Gore has invested in the carbon credit system and has an economic interest in propagating a belief in global warming. He relies heavily on the endorsements of the IPCC, which consists mostly of politicians and bureaucrats instead of scientists, making global warming a political issue.

His major contribution, in my opinion, is that he has made anthropogenic influence on natural cycles a more intellectual consideration to an informed population as a whole.

Are you aware that a large number of climate scientists tried to sue Al Gore for fraud about global warming? The lawsuit was led by the founder of the Weather Channel. The lawsuit didn't go anywhere. It was heavily suppressed in the media.

I am trained as a geologist. I have read many papers on paleoclimatology and am very aware that the levels of CO2 have been much greater in the past. I am also aware that Earth is due to return to an "ice age". My opinion is that global warming is real, even though cooling seems to have dominated for the past 8-9 years. I think humans have contributed to global warming. I also think global warming is a good thing. Most people forget that the living Earth consists mostly of plants and that CO2 is the main food for plants. I also hope global warming postpones the impending ice age.

The main concern for humans, regarding the buildup of CO2, in my opinion, is not global warming. What most people don't realize is that the buildup of atmospheric CO2 causes a decline in atmospheric O2....the decline in atmospheric oxygen. It could be a serious issue in several millennia with the current rates of decline.

Growing plants could become a government mandate in the future.

The point that you should be driving home if you want to keep it scientific and not political is that a particular day's weather in a particular city isn't really relevant to whether or not global warming is occurring. It's about decade by decade comparisons of global and/or regional averages.

Also, whether Al Gore gives a speech or not is a red herring. His speeches and the content thereof are ultimately irrelevant as to whether or not global warming is occurring.
