what's wrong with me?

Question

ok so i'm 16 yrs old and i still haven't had my first kiss. It's not like i haven't even had an option in fact i have almost had it on multiple occasions. Just every time, i have stopped it from happening. I have gotten to the point that i am so embarassed by it that i have started lieing, saying that i have, so people don't think i'm weird. I don't know why i wouldn't let it happen or what to do to make it happen. Please help me... this is getting very embarassing.

Nothing is wrong with you. I was 18 when I got my first kiss, and before that I acted very similar to the way that you are. And that's okay. It is better to wait until you feel comfortable with it. I know that waiting may make you feel a little weird sometimes, but it will be worth it and more meaningful if you kiss someone that you really care about. When I finally got my first kiss, I felt like I was living in a daydream for the next few days. It was really sweet. :) So, don't worry about what other people say. You do what fits you. If they ask you, you don't have to answer, either. Just laugh it off or change the subject. Or, you can politely say that it is none of their business. Good luck!

No need telling people you have..
if you really need then tell them guys have tried to kiss you, you just didn't like those guys..

Kissing really isn't that scary.. And 16 really isn't that old..

I had my first kiss just before I turned 15. Out of 10 girls in my year (15 year olds), only 3 have had their first kiss.

When a guy tries to kiss you next and if you want to kiss that particular guy -don't just kiss anyone to say that you have- if you want to kiss him too, let him kiss you and just go with it..

It's really best if you have a boyfriend who loves and cares about you. Don't kiss any guy just to get it over with, just to say you've been kissed. Make your first kiss special. This boyfriend can know that you're nervous and it's your first kiss and it will be so much better and easier too.

Girl, don't worry about it! You probably feel like people will see you as weird because almost every person you know your age has/had already kissed someone. You'll kiss someone when you feel it's right to kiss them. Later in life you'll realize kissing isn't even a big deal.
