Crabbing , Gulf Coast?

If you wanted to catch some crabs, on a pole with a line snare, where would you try to catch crabs around Gulfport/Biloxi? And, what time of year please?

On the Point, and if you're in Biloxi/Gulfport, you know where that is.
The Pass has some crabbing.
You should really use some traps. Snaring is iffy.
