The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings?
This may sound dumb but I need help with the order in which I should watch The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings movies. Do the Hobbit movies come first or The Lord Of The Rings trilogy?? I've looked online but it's not really helping.

The Hobbit stands as a prequel to the Lord of the rings.
Even though i read Lord of the rings first. If you want to read or watch it in an event based order , then you should read the Hobbit first.

The Hobbit is first chronologically just like it was with the novels. However The Hobbit story hasn't finished film-wise. I think it'll be a trilogy or something. So watching the two Hobbit films and then watching LOTR wouldn't make sense just yet.

Read the books as you will get the "correct" stories. The Hobbit comes first,it was written first for children. The film of the Hobbit (I have avoided others) is grossly incorrect in many major details.Frankly,it is drivel and the Hollywood film-makers have not got a clue how to portray a "real" story other than completely ruin it.
Soory...have to tell you as it is,from the city of Tolkein, his house and the pub he used to visit with C.S.Lewis (Narnia author) etc.,

just watch it like you are supposed to watch it...lord of the rings came out first...look at lord of the rings and then the hobbit..its the same thing like star wars..first came out 456 and then 123..its the same however you watch it but better to watch it how it was meant to be watched
