How to Install my Sims 3 Custom Content Correctly?!?
I downloaded the stuff from Mod The Sims.
1) Made the Mods Folder
2) Made Packages Folder
3)Placed the Packages Folder inside the mods folder
4) Put the Resource.cfg file in the Mods Folder
5)Placed the Mods Folder inside the 'The SIms 3' Folder in the Electronic Arts Folder
6)Extracted the .rar files using 7z so I had .package files
7)placed the .package files into the Packages folder
When I start up my game my custom content will not show up in game! But before my computer crashed (and I to reinstall all my stuff) I did it the way stated above (Steps 6 and 7 because 1-5 were already done) but now its not working. This is frustrating me dearly, will someone please help me out!? I'm pretty sure everything is in the right place. Thank You for all the help you can offer I really appreciate it <3

You might have made a mistake in the process. I would reccomend removing your mod's folder and starting anew from the directions,
If it still doesn't work, I would definitely ask on mod the sims. They are much more knowledgable then the people you will have answering your question on here.
