For the doman, see were the function is defined. in this case t cannot be greater than 3, or less than -3 or you will have a negative under the square root, which is an imaginary number. So, -3 ≤ t ≤ 3
For the range, you want to plug zero into all x values, in this case t value. At this point is a y-intercept and will tell the range of y values in this case.
√( 9 - (0)²) = 3
Since this is a downward facing graph because of the (-)t²,
h is less than or equal to 3.
For zeros, set 9-t² equal to zero. In this case, you don't need to worry about the radical because if 9-t² equals zero, then √( 9 - t²) will also equal zero.
So, 9-t² = 0
9 = t²
√9 = t
t = ±3 since we square rooted the function, it is a parabola that is zero at both t = 3 and t = -3
