My cat has a runny nose?
My cat has been having a really bad runny nose for a while. All the snot (and sometimes blood) clogs up around her nose and she can barely breathe. She always sounds like she's snoring. When I try to wipe away the snot I can tell that really hurts her because she barely lets me do it.
My mom and I took her to the vet (I'm 15) and the vet gave her an immunity shot and took some bloodwork and said to see what happens. They said if doesn't clear up it may be a dental related disease and she may need surgery.
The surgery is really expensive and my cat is really old (she's 13 or 14) so I don't think my mom will let her get the surgery. It's been a while since we last saw the vet and I think we both know that my cat is probably going to die soon because she is pretty old.
I tried taking her into the bathroom while I took a shower because I heard the steam is supposed to clear up the nose a little but it didn't seem to do anything. She's not eating as much. I know she's probably going to die soon but I hate seeing her so miserable, all she ever does is sleep in a secluded corner under my bed.
Is there anything I can do to make her feel better?
UPDATE: She hasn't been eating, her balance is off. Today she peed under my bed, she always usually goes in the litter box. My mom says we may have to put her down this week. I can't cure it with a medicine, it has to do with her tooth which can only be fixed by an expensive surgery.
She has been sneezing, she's been like this for maybe a month, maybe less. I do have a humidifier in my room because I get bloody noses. She spends most of her time there but it doesn't seem to have an effect.

take the cat to the vet again there might be another answer or a type of medicine to reduce the problem
also how did she develop the problem as in was she always this way
I am an animal lover an I don't cry at anything none of my friends have ever seen me cry but when my pets die I always cry so much and dream about them pets are like family but if you notice that the cat is sore and is suffering then if it does die reassure yourself that it would be happier in no pain instead of being in pain alive
but there probably a medicine that can help so I am sure it will get better and if it had survived for a few years it will survive for many more years to come
hope the cat gets well soon xoxo

Consult the vet again.
However, if cat is sneezing, that could be a sign of an upper respiratory infection and may need antibiotics.
But just a runny nose is simply a sign of a cold. Just be sure cat doing all the regular stuff, like eating, drinking, using the box, etc.

Take the cat to EMERGENCY vets as this could be a really bad disease called cat flu and it would have to go into isolation
