You can ask to have a friend (or mom) present in the room. They will not be allowed to watch, but they can stand by your head. Maybe this can help you.

Write all your questions on a piece of paper and make sure you get it answered before you leave. You can ask about anything, periods, genitals, sex, fertility, birth control. Make use of your chance to see a professional.

Also ask your doctor to tell you what he is going to do, why, and what he sees.

Also make sure you remember your last few period dates and be honest with your doctor. If you had sex, tell him so. Do not hide anything.

Best of luck, it is never a fun experience, but it is invaluable for your own health.

    BEst of luck!

Male or female doctor, does not matter, they are equally professional and will see you only as a patient.

Relax and enter the doctors room with confidence, the doctor will probe your insides, nothing to worry about, it is normal checkup.
