Astral Projection Help?
I think I astral projected for the first time today. I'm not sure though. At first I was paralyzed, I tried to move but could not. Then I was able to get up and walk. Everything was veiled in shadow, and there was a terribly loud ringing in my ears. I went to go turn on the lights because I was afraid. They didn't turn on. Then I turned back and there was something, not sure what, beside my bed. I finally then returned to my body or whatever. I'm extremely shaken and I dont want to go back to sleep. I want to sleep, but I'm so so scared right now. Was this actually astral projection. Should I be afraid?

SOME PEOPLE DO GET SCARE, But there is no reason to become scare it's safe when it happens naturally. I never got scare, even when I saw spirits out of body. Sounds like you did it, and the spirit near your bed perhaps was a spirit guide, they try to help, especially when your scare or out of body.

When a person can travel outside his/her body it is usually done so during sleep hours however, I have known some people who claim to have done this awake, though they were in a self-induced hypnosis.
If anything I think you had was a night terror. Astral projection does not cause one to be paralyzed, but night terrors can easily cause this for a slight spell and lead you to be shaken, upset, and emotionally charged.
Projecting outside of your body does not create fear or hallucinations of a bed monster nearby. You were in a dream state though you were awake. Another myth that people are unaware of is that during the astral projection, not all is a person aware of what is happening, or do they "see" their sleeping body. Most often, unless people wake up in a full awake, alert state, they have no idea of traveling until it is recalled from memory of the next morning or several hours from being awake.

I have had sleep paralasys for a long time. Only recently did I start to have visions. IN one there was a shadow by my bed like some sort of monkey or sasquatch I was so scared my adrenaline shocked me out of my paralasys and the thing looked so suprised that I sat up and then it vanished somehow. I think its wierd that lots of people who have sleep paralasys who are secluded cases (i.e., they dont know eachother and nver met) all see the same things when they are having visions..
Hope this helps

No you didn't, astral projection is a ridiculous impossibility only believed in by silly hippies. As crazy ideas go it's nearly as crazy as the belief that gods exist.
