Why did I dream about watching a random guy get beaten to death?
It was so visual and gross and it felt so real. One moment I was at school and then I was in the middle of the desert next to some random girl. Then a group of guys came near and were beating this guy to death. I woke up crying! I wanted to do something so badly but it was only a dream. Why did I dream this? What does it mean?

It could mean you feel powerless to help a certain person/persons in your life, or that you just feel helpless in general. On the other hand the person doing the beating could represent your repressed desire to kill all human beings and you trying to stop him but failing could represent the fact that you are failing to keep the beast down.
