“How do/can I” upload photos from LG840G TracFone directly to my PC?

I have both charging AND data cables, but cannot figure out how to upload photos from my LG840G TracFone to my PC. That is my primary question, here.

Secondarily, I cannot message or email photos from this damned phone, either. I always get ATTEMPT FAILED messages for both. It IS a TracFone, so that might be part of the problem.

I welcome ANY knowledgeable input, but not guesses. I've used those up.

Update:

WHAT is an SD card??? What does it look like? Is it different than the SIM card? There are no open ports in or on the phone, so I don't know where I might put or find an SD Card. If I could attach an image here I'd scan the inside of my phone for you to look at, but I don't see that option. This is all very confusing for someone who is cell-phone illiterate.

Move all of your photos to your SD card. Then remove the SD card and put that in your phone and copy and paste the photos to your computer.

Save your email address to your contacts list. Then when you go to send a message use the email address that you have saved.

I never use my cables to move music, videos and pictures. I always use my sd card.

" have both charging AND data cables, but cannot figure out how to upload photos from my LG840G TracFone to my PC."

Do you have a micro SD card in the phone's slot? I've never had a TracFone before, but did own an LG Voyager a few years back. On my phone, in the memory settings, it was easy to transfer pictures from internal memory to the micro SD card. Once on the pictures were on the card, the card could be connected to PC by inserting it into a card reader.

Also on my LG phone, I could keep the card in the phone, and simply connect the phone to the computer in USB. Once the cables are attached, I'd go into the phone's settings and tools and look for USB connect or USB Mass Storage.

Because you have an android, you may have to do things differently. In Settings, scroll down until you see "device" - look for "storage" under that. On the storage screen, click on the settings button and choose USB Computer Connection. You should see the option for USB MAss STorage, MSC, UMS - something like that. If you have a card in your phone's slot, the card should at that point show up on your computer screen as a removable drive to which you can just copy the files to.

All I had to do is go to Officemax and buy the fitting USB cord for around $8, plug it into the powered-up phone and computer. The phone asked, if I want to 'connect as Mass storage', I selected OK. Then selecting 'Computer' at the PC, then the selected disk, it shows on the menu 'Pictures', clicking on that shows my pictures in the phone, which I than drag into the appropriated folder of My Documents on the PC.
