Romney Family Photo And Freedom Of Speech?

So, the host has apologized for her comments regarding Mitt Romney's grandson. Even though just on Twitter, it seemed sincere.

Then, one of the others apologized, "but not to the wingnuts" and stated they were surprised that they were not defended by people who support freedom of speech, such as with Phil Robertson.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but Robertson expressed a belief based on his convictions and faith. The quote was from the Bible. Some of his other quotes were odd to say the least but not smeared with hatred as the left wants people to believe. This event surrounding the Romney photo was intentionally hurtful with no concern given to the family.

Should people have defended this as freedom of speech or called it out as the racist attack it appears to be? What say you?

If you defend Robertson's Free Speech shouldn't you defend hers?

That;'s the problem with people like Harris Perry, once said an apology just doesn't make up for the anger they created.

Much like Obama talking about his "typical" white grandmother or, those of us who are religious and own guns as "clinging to their bibles and guns."

Harris Perry was just trying to get in Obama's good books for copying his rhetoric.

Robertson was interviewed in GQ and not yakking on a network.

Robertson said nothing on television for one, it was in a GQ magazine interview. Saying something inflammatory about a baby on your end-of-year-review is beyond obnoxious. She should be fired!

But MSNBC viewers love to hate. They love to be as crass as they can, so she'll stay put.

What she and her panel said is not news. It's hate speech. While they could say in their private lives, saying it on TV is different. Didn't people say about Robertson that he'd have to live with the consequences? That goes for this rude host, too. Everyone knows she's a low brow scum, so nothing new here.

Robertson's interview was attended by and A $ E rep. They could have stopped it from being published but that entire concocted controversy was to increase ratings of their Duck Dynasty marathon. This creepy woman just wanted to say hurtful things about the Romney family. The man is not even involved in politics anymore.

How can the libs, the progressive, support and or defend, any language or taunting that is based on race. Isn't that what they are supposedly against? But here we are, with a string of these types of questions, and the libs go on defending what was said by one of their leading talking heads, the same one who believes children are the property of the community, not the parents by the way.

Phil Robertson's speech was just as hurtful as what was said about Romney's grandson.

I wonder when are "liberal" frenz are going to acknowledge that they hold a total lock on white trashiness in this country today.

Sorry, but what Robertson said was wrong, no matter how much you want to twist it.
