Why do people ask such stupid questions?

So many times I just google an answer for someone and copy and paste. Do people not know how to use google?

    What I do is I do this exactly;

    1. Highlight the question

    2. Right click

    3. Click the tab that says, "Search Google for '(whatever is highlighted'"

    4. Click on the first Google link

    5. Copy the URL

    6. Skim the article for there answer, then type it in the answer box

    7. Paste the URL in for a source

    When people ask questions like, "What is Justin Biebers birthday"... lol

    Hopefully you give credit to the website when you copy and paste. If not, then that's plagiarism.

    Some people choose not to use a search engine for whatever reason(s). Sometimes people ask questions to which there are no search results found. Sometimes people do indeed use a search engine and get tons of supposed results, but 90% or more of the sites simply copy and paste from the same source, thus you get the same word for word answer on tons of different websites. They then want to confirm to see if this one copied and pasted result they have found is correct. Sometimes people ask questions pertaining to individual experiences that can't be googled. Sometimes people want answers tailored to them individually which can be done on Y!A. I'm sure there are other reasons in addition to these, I just can't think of any more for now.

    Did you google before posting? If you did, then this question that you asked can be answered with why chose to post this. Maybe you didn't find anything. Maybe you didn't think you'd find anything. Maybe you didn't want. Whatever the reason, there's one answer.

    Obviously because lots of people are stupid. Keep looking through some of the questions asked here on Answers. You will cringe at some of them and end up not believing what you have read.Their education must be nil. Their beliefs are bordering on the insane, and they don't even have the knowledge to ask a question properly. Its bloody frightening.

    I wonder the same thing. Some time ago, someone in math seriously asked the square root of 100.

    Because some people do it to "troll" ("what is Justin Bieber's real phone number and e-mail?"), and because some people are truly clueless (or at least don't think before they type).
